Friday night date

One more pic at the waterfront...

Friday night date!

This is a picture of Marilee and Ethan on the kirkland waterfront during our friday night date. We picked up some delicious gyros, listened to some live music at the waterfront, then grabbed some Ben and Jerrys :) It was really fun.

House pics (and video)...finally

Here are some much awaited photos and video of our new place. We are very grateful to be in it :) Be sure to watch the videos, Ethan is in some of them!

The blueberry patch

We had a fun family outing to the blueberry patch. As a kid my mom used to take us, and I used to pride myself on the number of extremely large blueberries I could pick (and save). Ethan does the same, except that he eats them. He ate continuously for an hour and a half. I was amazed his little belly didn't pop. Pics follow:

Trip to the zoo

Marilee took Ethan to the zoo recently, and they appeared to have a nice time. Here are some of the pics that turned out well. The bottom pics are of Ethan watching the chickens at Kelsey creek Park in Bellevue. It's a cool little working farm that kids can go to for free and interract with farm animals- Ethan loved it!

Better things to do with my time?... perhaps :)

I saw this quiz and was curious how I might rate. Turns out my old-fashioned values are appreciated somewhere!

I have to add that I nearly burned the cookies I was making in order to finish this quiz, so I might have had a few points dropped for that :)

New and Improved...

For those of you who noticed that our blog has a slightly different look these days we want to make sure to give credit to Hayden (Nate's younger brother) for that! He's a super talented artist and he's letting us use one of his creations as our background :)
