Bath time!!!

We went to my parent's house for the Easter weekend and Ethan had a fun time playing with his older cousins. Here are some pictures from bath time with Lance, most of the time they were having fun! Ethan doesn't quite sit up on his own yet, but Lance was doing a good job of showing him some new skills, like how to stand up on his own :)

Ethan + Peaches = Funny Face

I was feeding Ethan some dinner tonight and thought I'd end with something sweet as a treat so I pulled out the pureed peaches. Much to my surprise, Ethan hated them. He was so expressive about his distaste that I had to capture it on film. Sorry it's a little choppy- I did it with my phone, but I think it captures the moment pretty well :)

Hanging out with cousin Lance

I watched Lance the other day while Carly and Derek went to the temple and it was fun to watch him and Ethan interract with each other. I hope they can be good buddies as they get older :) Lance is about 3 months older than Ethan and serves as a good preview of all that I have to look forward to- I hope I'm ready!!

What can I say? I'm smitten.

So, I know most of this blog seems to be about Ethan in some way or another, but I can't help it. He never ceases to make me smile when I hear him babbling to himself in his crib in the morning, and my heart melts whenever he's playing on the floor and he turns around and gives me a big grin, or when he snuggles up to me while I'm feeding him before bed time. I just can't imaging our family without him!
Some of his current achievements include growing two bottom teeth (I felt them before I saw them, it wasn't pretty!), almost finishing a whole serving of baby food in one sitting (this is a big accomplishment considering how much he gagged and clamped his mouth shut in the beginning!) and he can find his way to almost every corner of the house through some very skillful maneuvering!
I would take a picture to display his new pearly whites, but he seems to think every finger placed in or near his mouth is an invitation to chomp down, so we'd rather not risk it:)
